SEMINAR & DEMO TEACHING DAYS

Depending on your Venue and Hall size seating space, there can be any number of Spectators to watch, listen and learn ~  30-60 people is possible.  

For the actual afternoon Hands On Grooming & Trimming Workshop 6 or 8 is a good number ( up to 12 possible), so spaces for this feature are limited to a workable number. There needs to be space for each delegate to bring a stable sturdy table for each dog to stand/lie/sit on while being groomed. Delegates need to each bring their own scissors and grooming equipment to trim their own dogs.  

DOGS to be CLEAN, PreBathed the day before the Event and DRY please ! 

General idea Plan for the Day

• 9.30 arrival  for Set Up,  Places,    
• Tea & Biscuits , Coffee & Cake  
• 10am – 12.30 Teaching Seminar / Talk & Demonstration
  by ME on the various aspects of every area of the dog and the different coat types , coat cycles, darker gold, sandy, cream, blond , entire  or neuters & sterilized woolly and fluffy , double coats with thick undercoat , fine or silky texture , over long feathering & silhouetting , naturalization and enhancement with regard to the official Breed Standard and the varied construction of each individual , choice of equipment and what method or technique best ,  tackling shoulder capes , aprons and ‘sprouts’ , disguising faults , shaping and creating illusions.

30 – 60 seated spectators possible or more if Hall size and seating permits
Short Lunch Break (people bring their own packed lunch)  12.30 to 1pm
DOGS present can have a quick toilet break

1.30 to 3.30pm Afternoon Hands-On Workshop

Trim your Own Dog  for the select 6-12 HandsOn delegates while I walk between and around each table to give each some time and attention for instruction, critical feedback , advice & guidance to help improve your technique and standard of finish.  

Limited spaces for 6 to 8 delegates with their own prebathed dogs ( up to x 12 delegates possible if Hall Size permits)  

Morning Spectators with a Day Ticket can mingle between and wander around the tables to watch , listen , ask questions and pick up tips
3.30pm Tea/ Coffee / Clear Up for a 4 o’clock finish  

EXTRA ??  ONE HOUR Ringcraft Intensive Session if wanted / time & venue permitting ??

INTENSIVE FUN RINGCRAFT WORKOUT 

for up to 24 participants with their dogs for a fun, intensive ONE HOUR workout to practice perfecting your show ring performance and confidence …… moving, movement patterns, stacking, free standing , body language , tactics, timing, appearance from the ringside , focus on what the judge sees, and more …..   

5pm FINISH / Clear Up / Good Byes/ Go Home

( Most Professional Trimsters or Grooming Specialists charge 75 euros to spectate on a Breed Specific Grooming Day & 150 euros to participate in the hands on workshop)
